Clay in Community
Z has fostered a unique and inclusive creative environment by involving community members in the decoration of traditional Jewish ritual objects such as Tzedakah boxes as well as tissues boxes. This ongoing collaboration aims to bring people together to foster meaningful dialogue around anti-zionism, diaspora, and queerness. By inviting diverse perspectives and experiences into the artistic process, the objects become powerful vehicles for storytelling and reflection, subverting their previously intended purposes and sparking important conversations within the Jewish community.
